Jena is a fully qualified and experienced Osteopath. She has always had a passion for health and medicine, which lead her to complete 5 years of study at RMIT University. She graduated in 2013 with Distinction. Since graduating, Jena has worked in several private practice clinics all around Melbourne from the North Eastern suburbs to the far South East and more recently on the fridge of Melbourne’s CBD. This allowed her to gain much experience in treating people of all ages, professions and backgrounds.

Jena’s goal as an osteopath is to assist her patients in enhancing their movement and function as much as possible! She believes a combination of hands-on therapy and regular exercise/movement is the key to doing just that. Leading by example, she keeps fit with dance, Pilates and strength training (and, of course, regular osteopathic treatment!). Jena is also a qualified Pilates instructor. She has trained with the Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute (APPI) and has completed their full series Mat & Equipment Pilates courses. This means that Jena can prescribe effective exercises for almost any musculoskeletal problem!

In her spare time, Jena loves to dance and is also a regular musical theatre audience member. Her favourite productions include CATS and The Book of Mormon. She is also obsessed with Pugs and hopes to have her own after she marries her other love and partner of 10 years, Tim, in April 2019 at the Collingwood Children’s Farm.

Jena is available Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. To book an appointment with Jena, please call 03 9898 4391, or BOOK ONLINE.

  • Headaches

  • Tendon injuries

Alexis’ passion in life is osteopathy and the human body, and appreciates that she has found it every single day. She is inspired by the capabilities of the human body and truly believes that you can do anything you put your mind to. She is a basketball enthusiast, having played since she was 5 and is still heavily involved in the sport today, so treating sports injuries is one of her interests. Being a basketball coach and swimming instructor, she also loves working with teens and finds it extremely rewarding.

During your consultation with Alexis, she will help you understand what is going on with their pain specifically, which is very important in your recovery, so you can better understand how to help yourself too. One of the unique things about Alexis is that she works with her patients closely to reach their goals in getting back to their sport, or to go back to normal life pain free. She will treat you as an individual because every person and injury is different.

When Alexis isn’t found on the basketball court or treatment room, she likes walking her dogs, painting or teaching the odd swimming class.

Seeing Alexis is like chatting to an old friend. Her warm, down to earth nature puts you at ease as soon as you walk in the door. Alexis is available Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. To book an appointment with Alexis, please call 03 9898 4391, or BOOK ONLINE.

Senior Osteopath

Debbie is fascinated by the human body and its innate ability to heal itself. A treatment with Debbie involves not only a thorough assessment of your musculoskeletal system, but also a lifestyle evaluation. The beauty of osteopathy is that we believe that everything in the body is related, and addressing everything together gives you longer term and faster relief.

Being an exercise junkie, and keen to try anything new, Debbie loves treating sports or gym related injuries in order to get you back into action ASAP, because she understands how frustrating it can be when you’re on the sidelines! Having had two children, she is also passionate about care in the pre and post natal periods. She believes in the most natural approach possible in all aspects of pregnancy, from preconception to postnatal, which allows new mothers and their babies to be in the most ideal state of health during what can be a challenging time both physically and emotionally.

Debbie has seen people from many walks of life in her 12 years as an osteo. She strongly encourages all of her patients from children to the elderly to maintain an active lifestyle, and believes in the benefits of good nutrition from wholefoods and keeping hydrated. Her top piece of advice is: don’t believe everything you have been told or that you read. Do your own research and come up with your own conclusion. One of her passions is learning about health and nutrition, especially natural healing methods, so ask for a remedy for any ailment, and she will be sure to know one!

In her spare time, you will find Debbie in the weights or cardio section at the gym, researching the latest on health and nutrition, running around after her 2 boys and chihuahua, doing yoga, or spending time out and about with her family and friends.

Debbie is available Thursdays and Saturdays. To book an appointment with Debbie, please call 03 9898 4391, or BOOK ONLINE.
